2-Pound 70s-6 .023 Mild Steel Welding Wire Spool

ER 70S-6 is a mild steel welding wire containing a higher level of manganese and silicon to produce quality welds when used on dirty or rusty steel. The high silicon content increases the fluidity of the weld pool, creating a smoother bead appearance and resulting in minimal post weld grinding. Note: shielding gas is require with this product. Typically used for construction work, tanks, truck bodies, farm implements, pipes, steel casting or forgings, shaft build-ups and general shop fabrication. Shielding gasses range from straight CO2 to high argon blends.
